Lithium batteries are considered by many to be lithium batteries. However, for professional lithium battery production and development personnel, lithium batteries are also divided into many types, such as lithium-ion batteries, lithium polymer batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries, lithium cobalt acid batteries, lithium manganese oxide batteries, ternary polymer lithium batteries, solid-state lithium batteries, and so on; Different types of lithium batteries are suitable for different application fields.
Lithium ion battery: This is currently the most widely used lithium battery, widely used in mobile phones, laptops, power tools, electric vehicles, street light backup power supply, etc.
Lithium polymer batteries (LiPo): commonly used in mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) are commonly used in electric vehicles, solar energy storage systems, and emergency power equipment due to their high safety and long lifespan.
Lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO2) batteries: commonly used in portable electronic devices, such as laptops.
Lithium manganese oxide batteries (LiMn2O4): also used in portable electronic devices, but relatively rare.
Triple polymer lithium battery: The positive electrode material is lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide, and the negative electrode material is graphene. Mainly used in industries such as new energy vehicles, electric vehicles, pneumatic tools, energy storage technology, intelligent sweeping robots, drones, and intelligent wearable devices.
Lithium cobalt oxide battery: The positive electrode material is lithium cobalt oxide, and the negative electrode material is graphene. Stable structure, high capacity ratio, outstanding comprehensive performance, but poor safety and high cost, mainly used for small and medium-sized battery cells, widely used in small electronic devices such as laptops, mobile phones, MP3/4, etc.
Lithium iron phosphate battery: The positive electrode material is lithium iron phosphate, and the negative electrode material is graphene. Mainly used for new energy vehicles, energy storage batteries, etc.
Lithium titanate batteries: With high energy density, they may be used for future electric vehicles and space applications.
Solid state lithium batteries: use solid electrolytes instead of liquid electrolytes to provide higher safety and energy density. In addition, lithium batteries can also be classified based on their shape, electrolyte, purpose, and housing material.
